“A Room of One’s Own”
July 24th - 26 October 2025 Fitzroy Library, 201 Napier Street Fitzroy 10am - 5pm.
Displayed inside the Fitzroy Libraries 12 vitrines A Room of One’s Own is a series of digitally illustrated prints based on four spaces I have lived in. Private curated domestic spaces illustrated without any humans present to look like miniature worlds of dollhouses. A reflection of our fascination with looking into unseen spaces of peoples homes.
Primarily working with digital mediums I have concerns about the rise of generative AI. Through these prints I have dissected the many layers of my drawings into their own printed images.
Displaying the anatomy, thinking and labour behind the digital drawing which often goes unnoticed by a viewer.
